Loan Administrator - Permanent, Full-Time

Rocky Credit Union is currently recruiting for a Loan Administrator: Permanent, Full-time position. 

 

The Position:

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our Loan Administration department. This role plays a key part in supporting our long-term succession planning efforts. While future opportunities will depend on organizational needs and individual performance, the position does offer the potential for growth and may evolve into management role.

 

  • Prepare and process loan documentation, post loan entries, and complete daily verification checks, including member information and documentation requirements. 
  • Register and discharge securities such as caveats, mortgages, and security agreements.
  • Monitor margin accounts, maintain records, and communicate updates with members.
  • Process payments, third-party demands, transfers, AFTs, and other loan-related transactions in accordance with agreements.
  • Conduct PPSA, Bank of Canada, and Corporate Registry searches, and respond to external credit inquiries.
  • Perform credit investigations with financial institutions and credit bureaus.
  • Prepare routine reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) including delinquency, overdraft, loan status, and related financial reporting.
  • Manage mortgage renewals, insurance processing, billing activities, and property tax administration.
  • Maintain accurate loan files and support documentation control for the department.
  • Monitor delinquency and loan reports, identify issues, and support resolution activities.
  • Prepare member correspondence and follow-ups for documentation and account requirements.
  • Stay current on lending policies, legislation, and credit union products through ongoing learning and updates.

 

The Person:

  • Grade 12 education required
  • 1–2 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Detail oriented

 

Compensation:

  • Salary commensurate with experience and in accordance with Rocky Credit Rewards & Motivation program.
