The transaction uses chip technology and relies on the same secure network as your Interac Debit card.  No need to insert your card and enter your PIN, no more searching for bills or waiting for change.  With Interac Flash it's like you're ready with the exact change every time.

Rocky Credit Union Internet Banking Alerts are here!!

At RCU, we try to help our Members in any way we can. That’s why we offer free online banking alerts that keep you up to date with your finances. Keep forgetting to pay your bills on time? Or need a reminder when your account hits a low balance? We have an alert for that!

Set alerts for almost any scenario through your online banking profile.
The most commonly used types of Alerts you can set up are:

Fraud Alerts (Security)
For your financial protection we offer four kinds of fraud alerts: New Payee Added, Password Change, ABM Transaction and Locked Account. Though we hope these alerts are never needed, in the case that fraud occurs you will be sent an email immediately. This is a peace of mind alert and is great to set up as a precautionary measure.

Minimum Balance Alert
Do you ever forget to leave enough money in your account to cover scheduled payments? Or spend more than your budget allowance? The minimum balance alert can be used for a variety of scenarios but has one main job – to let you know when you’ve reached a balance that’s not desirable. You can set this alert to a minimum balance of your choice.

Bill Payment Alerts
We offer two kinds of bill payment alerts. The first is a Bill Payment Notification, which notifies you when your bill has been paid, and the second is a Failed Bill Payment Alert, which lets you know when your bill payment has failed. You can use these alerts to avoid interest charges and to ensure you’re not damaging your credit score by not paying bills.

Pre-Authorized Credit Alert
This alert notifies you when there is money electronically deposited into your account. Our Members can use this alert to notify themselves when their pay cheque has arrived. This can act as a trigger to do online banking or as a reminder that there’s cash flow coming in. You can also set the threshold for this alert by choosing the amount that will require a notification.

NSF Cheque Alerts
We offer two NSF cheque alerts: Returned Item Alert notifies you if a cheque you wrote is NSF and Chargeback Alert notifies you if a cheque you deposited is NSF.

ATM Transaction Alert
Get notified when an ATM transaction or debit transaction on your account has been performed.

These alerts can be sent as a text message to your mobile device, as an email to your email address or both

Planning a trip in the near future? Let us know before you travel! It is important to notify Rocky Credit Union of your travel plans at least one week prior to your trip to ensure you have access to your money and are able to use your MemberCard ® debit card without interruption while you are away.

This is an extra security measure as all accounts are monitored for suspicious or unusual card activity.

Notify us to avoid any service disruptions, or blocking of card when you try to use your card out of country.
