Debit Card Skimming

There have been many debit card skimming events over the past few weeks.  Debit card skimming takes place when a criminal copies your debit or credit card, somehow obtains your PIN, and then uses that information to take money out of your account through ATMs or direct payments.

It is the magnetic strip that is copied, not the chip.  Please read the linked articles about how you can protect yourself and your cards so that your money is kept safe.
