Education Plus Account Package

To receive a $10 iTunes gift card, you must open a new Education Plus transaction account and qualify for a loan or Student MasterCard credit card by October 1, 2007; gift cards will be mailed to qualifying members by October 15, 2007. What's included?
The Education Plus account package includes any and all of the services that you need while attending post-secondary school; an interst-bearing account, overdraft protection*, a MemberCard® debit card, a Student MasterCard® credit card, a computer loan, and a student loan.
Who qualifies?
Our Education Plus package account is available to post-secondary students who are enrolling in a recognized college, university, or technical school, and taking a minimum 60% course load.

Overdraft Protection
For those times when there's not enough money in your account, overdraft protection serves as a short-term loan. Fees apply for using an overdraft, in addition to interest charges on the amount borrowed. You must apply and be approved for Overdraft Protection before you can use it.
Student Loan
Loans are available to full-time or part-time students. An authorized budget may include tuition, books, and reasonable living expenses. an Account Officer will help you determine just how much you will need to get you through school.
Make interest-only payments while attending school. Repayment of the loan starts within 6 months after you complete your education or cease enrollment. After your 6-month grace period ends, loan payments can be amortized over a maximum of 15 years with no pre-payment penalties. An authorized amount, rate, and terms will be determined by your Account Officer.
Computer Loan
Keep up with technology with up to $3,500 for the purchase of a new computer. Monthly repayments start one month after you purchase your new system. An authorized amount, rate and terms will be set by your Account Officer.
